From sensor to product

Whether you have already completed development of your hardware medical device, you just have a novel prototype sensor or you are somewhere in between, Camgenium can help you.

At minimum, we can provide the technology you need to connect your device to the cloud, and add apps and websites. If you need more, we can help provide high performance, ultra-low power and noise circuitry to turn your sensor into a device.

This very early stage prototype subcutaneous sensor was rapidly built into an early prototype device using Camgenium hardware designs that allowed it to run for 14 days on one charge and transferred data to an app and website via NFC.

The customised app and website showed time and date stamped readings taken by the device together with contextual information about each experiment.

In this case, whilst the sensor performed as required in vitro, it sadly failed to perform when strapped to a person. By turning the sensor rapidly into a high functioning, low noise device with GCP compliant data logging, the experimental team quickly evidenced that there was a problem with using the sensor in vivo. They were able to cut their losses and turn their resources to improving the sensor design.
