We take care of hosting facilities and ensure that they are maintained and monitored in accordance with regulation and we provide you with timely compliance reports for your regulatory records.
We provide and support integration with third party billing engines such as Stripe, so you can include invoicing and revenue collection into your products. We can also integrate your products into third party systems such as fortressed health IT systems that will trust our platform because it has the necessary credentials.
We manage the deployment method; this is becoming increasing complex with Apple and Google setting ever higher bars for inclusion of apps on the App Store and Play Store. We ensure that deployment methods and procedures ensure correct delivery of software, installation, set, configuration, intended operation and maintenance. We provide information to users if they need to take action. And we can remove your software from end-users’ devices, and wipe them clean of data held in apps, should that be appropriate.
Maintenance can be another problematic issue, particularly as new versions of third party operating systems like iOS and Android can have serious consequences and require rework of your software. If you use the Camgenium platform, we take care of all maintenance and we have engineers permanently employed to manage platform upgrades, which we then roll out to all clients’ products. We also maintain automated and manual test cases so we can perform full regression testing of your product before issuing an upgrade of the platform. This is included in the hosting and platform fees.
We take product maintenance very seriously. Maintenance activities should preserve the integrity of the SaMD without introducing new safety, effectiveness, performance, and security hazards. To ensure this we consider all potential risks, in particular patient safety risk resulting from changes or actions of any type.
